New Mexico Vehicle Inspection Station In Albuquerque

New Mexico doesn’t require periodic safety inspections for vehicles registered within the state. The state, however, has a mandatory requirement of a biennial vehicle emission inspection only for Bernalillo county. As per the state jurisdiction, New Mexico emissions tests must be performed on all vehicles 35 years old and newer in Bernalillo county. The diesel vehicles are, however, exempted from emission testing. Also, the state of New Mexico requires VIN inspection for cars coming to New Mexico from another state.
